2022 AUDI E-TRON SPORTBACK

Filed Jul 11, 2026

The integrated high-voltage powertrain / single-speed transmission unit is failing, causing severe mechanical chattering, rapid actuator cycling, and vibration under the vehicle. This failure follows a recent catastrophic, unexplained total loss of traction/HVAC coolant while at a previous Audi dealership. Audi is aware of systemic coolant migration issues into the electric drive motors on 2022 e-tron models under Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) #2073858, where coolant breaches internal seals…

am writing to file a formal complaint regarding my recent experience with the service department at Audi of Cherry Hill concerning my Audi e-tron. My vehicle remained at your dealership for approximately four weeks, during which time no repairs or meaningful progress were made. Instead, I was informed that I would need to approve approximately $13,000 in diagnostic fees before the vehicle would even be inspected or touched. I find this completely unreasonable and unacceptable, particularly…

2021 AUDI E-TRON SPORTBACK

While driving my 2021 Audi e-tron Sportback Prestige, the high-voltage battery warning light illuminated on the dashboard. At the same time, regenerative braking stopped functioning, resulting in reduced energy recovery and a noticeable decrease in driving range. Before taking the vehicle to an Audi dealership, I had the diagnostic trouble codes read by an independent repair shop. The technician advised me to take the vehicle to Audi because the diagnostic information reportedly indicated a…

Component/System: Service Brakes, Hydraulic / Brake Pedal Assembly / Steering Linkage Description of Defect: A progressive mechanical noise and physical sensation occurs during driving transitions involving the brake, accelerator, and steering column. After the brake pedal is fully released and the accelerator is pressed, or when the steering wheel is turned, a distinct loud thunk and a sliding/dragging sound emanate from the brake pedal assembly area. When the accelerator is released, a…

Running 4430 MMI/MIB3 software (that was release almost 2 years ago) and now have stereo EQ settings that reset on their own, personalized favorites that delete on their own, and other personalization settings that reset on their own. Happens every 6-24 hours if settings are adjusted. Audi knows about it, refuses to allow dealers to update to newer software that will fix these since there are updated available that solves.

When driving, my vehicle recieved multple warning messages at the same time. The first message was that my brake was malfunctioning, and when I went to brake, the brakes did not work. Thankfully, I wasn't going too fast when this happened and I was able to bring it down to a slow and turned into a lot. I could've easily hit another vehicle or totaled my car because the brakes simply stopped working. The problem seems to be at the maker level for Audi eTrons - I've read this has been…

Moisture build-up in the high-voltage electrical system through a faulty seal on the charging socket, which can cause a short circuit and significantly increase the risk of a vehicle fire. If you get a warning light saying electrical system: fault, you should stop driving immediately, park outdoors away from structures, and not charge the vehicle. Braking problems caused by sub-standard welding within the ABS rotor and shaft. High-voltage battery modules that may overheat, also increasing…

From time to time the driver's door does not latch completely so the door is only partially closing. Dealer was able to duplicate the problem but will not replace (estimated cost for new door latch is just under $800.) at their expense. It appears that others have had the same problem. When driving the car air rushes into the vehicle as the door is not fully shut. I worry that this problem could be very serious should I be in an accident with a partially closed door rather than a fully closed…

2022 AUDI E-TRON

Brakes were replaced by Audi with genuine Audi parts and within 2 months, the brake rotors became warped, requiring a resurfacing. After driving another 2 months, they once again became warped, making the entire car lurch and shake during braking.
